savagek
I know there has been a lot of discussion about +1 uniques; When to release them, coin fees to upgrade them and rates to +1. I think when you finally do release them, a good compromise between people who want 100%, people who want low %'s and such and you who want a coin sink through them is to offer 4 compound accessory scrolls, in Charon, at different prices. (These should be unaffected by Tax) Low Class Compound Accessory Scroll - This one is the basic one, it costs only 2m and offers you a 25% chance at making your unique +1. Middle Class Compound Accessory Scroll - This one is better, it costs 50m and offers you a 50% chance of making your unique +1. High Class Compound Accessory Scroll - This one offers you a nice high rate of 75%, but it costs 150m to buy. Blessed High Class Compound Accessory Scroll - This scroll is 100% - but only available for a large amount, like 5-10GB. I think this works much better than a flat coin fee for upgrading uniques. A flat fee will mean the lower quality kind of uniques, which can be useful at +1, such as Elf Rings, Ammy of Dex/Str are still going to be too costly to even attempt to +1. This also helps clear some uniques that are quite saturated on the market, such as the Juraid ones. People aren't going to want to pay such a hefty fee for the 100% scroll when the uniques themselves aren't worth that, so you'll get plenty of them being burnt on the anvil from people using the lower tiers of compound scroll. Finally, people who want to make +1s of the more expensive uniques, can, free of any hesitation that they'll fail. However to do this they're spending a large amount on coins and not only will it sink some coins out of the market, it will stop +1's flooding the server as most won't be able to pay those kind of coins straight away.
