If you paid for them, then obviously we have an obligation here (especially with how things are in the world right now), but we're already being extremely lenient as is. So sure, you farmed a bunch of virtual items on a server that lasted another ~4 years after the PK rework, which is more than the typical month or so of most private servers that pop up here and now. Let's be real, the server's been dead for a long while. If you farmed things back in 2015/2016, stopped playing & waited for a relaunch to use these points (which is for some reason something that a lot of people decided to do), then I'm sorry... but recent players (like yourself) really shouldn't have expected too much from a server 4 years into its lifecycle with rarely enough players on to PVP with (and let's be real, most of the PVP devolved quickly into NP tranferring). If those points were paid for though, no worries. ? Going forward we've reworked some things with the intention of distinguishing things here, so it should be a lot clearer and less of an issue. I've farmed in game and traded coins/items for Apex points from those who did not have time or interest to farm. We farmers may not have supported you directly from our pocket but we paid for apex points with our time and we've encouraged those who wanted to pay real money to you. See now you do have obligation here towards farmers. We traded time for Apex points and time is money! Remember your server was not PK from beginning infact it was never a pk server. You guys said you'll never support babashoppers but here you're supporting them by keeping their Apex points. You say that I'm a recent player? that saddens me. My first char was created on 14/4/16 Maybe I took some short breaks from game but I'm sure I played more than 3 yrs here! and even when Apex died as you say for a while I still played here. Don't you really have no plan for loyal active players who kept server going ? instead you're burning them by not giving their Apex point back. Please don't get me wrong I'm not here to argue with you. Giving babashoppers back their Apex point and burning farmers is unfair. Either burn them all or transfer Apex points for farmers as well. Some players like me who spent time to get KC in game and been here since the beginning, active everyday should be rewarded, not be burned. I hope you reconsider your decision. And those "certain players" are those that paid for it. They're virtual items to everyone else (and to themselves once they've left their hands unless it was recently), and all virtual items will be reset on relaunch. That's how servers go - we just happened to take 5 whole years to get to this point. They're not special in any other way. They just happened to actually pay real money to us to introduce them into the system, so considering them as "exclusive people we're catering for" in a situation like this is a little unfair IMO. I get that it's upsetting you spent time on something and then happened to lose it, but you're essentially just upset that you're losing virtual points/vouchers on a game that's been dead enough to not actually play properly for a long time, when in reality what's actually happening is you're sacrificing those for a game you can actually play with people. Wouldn't you rather have an active server (keeping only the points you actually purchased from us instead) that there's a reason to actually spend points on, instead of an almost completely unplayable dead server where you basically just spend most of your time farming points that you have no reason for actually spending on anything? I have a lot of farmed KC and items myself @red123 (a lot), I never bothered selling any of it (even though I stopped playing the server over a year ago) because that's not what I play for. I can understand Administrator's position on this matter and at this point what I want is the old active server back, whatever the cost is.To administrators: I hope you've learned from the previous server as well, I do believe the old Apex could have been saved from getting to this point with the proper actions at the right time, but those actions never came. Sure 4 years is a lot of time (and is ok to be proud of that) but don't fool yourself (seeing how much you've been repeating that number on this thread @twostars) because the lack of players and interest on this server from the community wasn't just a matter of time, that plays a part of it, sure, but many of the decisions you guys took let to this outcome as well, so hopefully things will be managed a bit different this time.
