OhBabyATriple
First of all don't take this too seriously but think about it calmly... As of now , we can see the marketing changing day by day, items prices are dropping very fast whilst the value of noah is increasing. Whilst this is good for new players, I feel there have to be some small changes to balance out the economy or it will crash in the next few weeks. There are a few reasons for this, - People are fishing on other accounts 24/7 , which I'm not criticizing but what wrong at this point is the drop rate of (crudes/opals/crystals), not only that but they also sell high in the NPC. - People see this everyday and they follow the hype train, meaning they want to sell their items asap, before the item price drops even more. - I understand the price droppings are a normal reaction to more uniques and items being in the game still there have to be some changes. * I suggest you either lower the drop rate on (crudes/crystals/opals) a bit more or either lower the selling price in the NPC, this will make fishing still good but it won't be as rewarding as it was before and why should it be? You are afking and making more money than when you're farming... Your sincerely, OhBabyATriple P.s. Feedback and other suggest are always welcome as long as they are polite
Science
you only thinking in premium users, we(free users) sell the opals/crude/crystal for a low price even if we stay 24/7, sorry but the server it's fine.

david4244
It's not hard to buy a prem + golden rod after 1-2 days of farming and OP is right. Fishing / mining is still pretty much the best best thing to do, especially if you do it with 4-5 chars and it destroy the overall activity of other events / farming. As an example: - ~35-40 minutes Bifrost farming today (with the increased drop rates, almost every1 lvl 80, mostly with skills opened, +7 / +8 items. And it's an event, opened only for few hour a day, supposed to be one of the best, if not THE BEST farming spot at this state of the game w/o juraid, UTC and so on): That was the result. 6-7x Fragments of Rage (3rd worst fragment) for everybody in the party. We could've gone for sloth or stronger mobs, that would've gotten even less drops [would've been higher chance for uniques, but well even if u menage to get 3x from the best fragment, it won't guarantee unique drop so] as well as plenty of people would've died. (Normally it would be a really good drop rate, just comparing the time / effort / result here with the fishing makes it aint seems cool) So ye, that was the Bifrost drop for each people, which required: -A full party / decent amount of ppl, priest, attackers, etc. -High lvls, good items. -Had the possibility of dieing and losing exp /// being raided. -using pots, rpring (cost money). -have to be there, focusing, playing the game. (Not an AFK activity as Fishing / mining) and so on. -Meanwhile: I started fishing with an other char of our at the same time we started the BF farm, this was the result after the same 35-40 mins: It's 10m+ coin (sapphires + upgrade scrolls, etc) As well as 8x gems + fragment + chest in total. (They might have a little worse rate overall, but still) flashes, abyss gems, worms. And what does it require? -I was AFKing, checked it 1 time to make sure the inventory isn't full yet. -Didn't cost any money at all. Don't have to rpr, no pots needed. -No chance to die or anything (well there is a tiny bit if they lure smth there, but u can just do it with sub char so losing exp won't rly hurt) -If you do it with your main char, it gives a decent amount of XP aswell. At the end of the day, if you compare them, they worth almost the same value with the diff, for one of them i had to be here, concentrating, sitting on my ass for 40 minutes straight, wasting pots and shit, while the other one made it all while i wasn't even looking. And that was with 1 char. Fishing 24/7 with 5+ char, you will have so many stuff u will be bored exchanging / upgrading them. So ye the main problem is still that despite the changes (which made things better btw) it's still not rly profitable to waste your time and farming the normal way. PS.: I don't mind if it stays like this, but i will just fishing aswell with a couple of character instead of going for BF and such a things. Lapislazuli
I agree that crudes and co. drop rate could be lowered a little. The fundamental concept is that active farming should always be more effective (by a long shot) than AFK farming. Good feedback thread
Xitam
i'd wouldnt say its faster. I prob would get more money farming raptors +1 than mining.

Do you even read threads , comments // thinking before answering the same thing everywhere "everything is fine as it is, no need to change" ? Cuz if you would, you could clearly see my post above // why people bitching, and it's more than reasonable when a full geared party farming at BF (Way better than cz farm spots, currently pretty much the BEST manual farming spot) and the result is basicly the same as if they'd just fish for the same time. If you think that is fine and healthy to the server, then you should seriously think about it once again. The fishing rates might can stay, but then they have to make the farming spots even better, as well as BF, e.g weakening mobs like Greed, Envy etc, so people could farm it and take advantage over AFK fishers. OhBabyATriple
I think our main conclusion here is that , actively farming and being active should be more rewarding than sitting a.f.k (fishing/mining). I think we can all agree on that, small changes have to happen.

But I'm seeing over 150 players via minging and fishing on both sides afking! lol

Ronnen
The easiest solution is of course nerf something that people are using, pissing off them in the process. Hardest but cool solution is to make farm worth it, this means, make people want to farm because it is worth it.
KissOfNeo
My 2 cents is I think its fine as is for now People farming is great i personaly go farm items i want to but other hand i fish when want as well.. Both have there rewards and goals in them.. Most of the fishing chars are after items to use or money to pay the ones who got there +7s and +8s in first couple days while the rest of ppl have to pay 5 to 10 gb just to get the skills to catch up to them.. If they nerfed fishing and mining now i can see a loss in prems being brought and most prob community dropping

Just look at the prices dropping each day (Hellbreaker went from 150m+ to barely 80-90m atm same for all other weapons. Prices are dropping easily with 2.5 - 7m each day, are we going to keep this trend going?! I mean, slightly reduce the selling prices of opals/ crudes / crystals is fine to balance out the current dropping of prices

Its now easier for new players to equip their self. Also, active farming is better actually. Just look when farming DKs in cz, you get a raptor every 5-7 of them. Thats like 10m each. in 1 hour you can easily get 15 of those, then you may sell at +1 or try for bigger profit. You just dont know how to farm, it seems. Price dropping is not a bad thing for new players, I agree but there has to be a certain stop to it. If this keeps on going, we'll see hellbreakers selling for 40-50 in four days, who knows what price they'll be in one week, you must balance it out otherwise it will be a total crash
