    I was there the entire time, and aside from kill a few adds (and admittedly screwing up once on Purious), I didn't help at all. UTC isn't intended to be a 20-30 minute event, and you guys clocked in around an hour this time (as opposed to 45 minutes before).
    If you feel it needs discussion, feel free to open a topic. I'll be closing this as there's a reason the shoutbox is gone, and this thread isn't about to take it's place.

    As much as +8 -> +9 straight up makes sense here, that’s not something we can do for normal high-class armors / weapons (think hepa shards, etc) due to the way the upgrade system is designed; it’d also open up for krowaz, dark knight, and secret armors and all other non-unique armor and weapons
    To clarify, it’ll cause confusion to only selectively open it up for the older +15 rev locked unique weapons and not for everything else

    We’ll have to take a look at how far we need to take these outdated items (e.g. what +) to be useful at all, as well as balance the rate at which these are obtainable vs. chance to get to the required + to be useful. (And then there’s the debate of do we want to let them surpass newer content, but that comes later)
    All in all, I quite like the idea and see opportunities to revive older content

    We'll be looking into it and resolving it as soon as possible
    EDIT:
    After having looked into it, it looks like it's nothing we haven't seen before, and just because they manage to remove the client side cooldown does in no way mean the server doesn't enforce it.
    There's 3 things being (seemingly) abused in this vide:
    Minor heal - which, if you slow the video down and look at the information message box, shows you that a <lot> of those minor heals are actually failing, as they haven't come off cooldown yet server side. It seems as if it's much faster than it should be because of all the spam in there.
    Range - this is indeed too far, having said that, it seems worse than it actually is because he's trying it on worms - our adaptive range checks only apply to players attacking other players. There's a few ideas we've got to fix these kinds of problems too, so we're gonna start looking into those.
    Helis - visually the cooldown is removed, but he isn't exactly spamming it. In fact, he wouldn't be able to and this is the same speed / rate of attacks someone would have when they're combo'ing (and no faster than that). Surprised he didn't show potions having no cooldown (as those work differently, he wouldn't be able to :))

    We've got a fair few ideas on how to rework the warrior AoE skills;
     
    1. We nerf their damage (which is what we'll go with at first, we'll need constructive feedback on the changes), the intent is to get it to a point where mages have a fighting chance when a warrior team runs into them to AoE them. (however brief that window of opportunity may be). You'll still be able to kill them with AoE, There's just no 1-shotting the party anymore - just like a warrior party will be healed up after a mage team novas them, a mage team will be able to be healed up after a warrior party decent AoEs into them.
     
    2. We change it so that only the closest X targets get hit, rather than anyone in range by the warrior AoE
     
    3. We let the AoE damage scale depending on how close the targets are to the targeted spot (where the 'hammer' hits)
     
    4. We implement diminishing returns on damage for stacking AoEs with multiple persons
     
    Just some of the ideas, we'll go ahead and try out tweaks to the AoE damage live (as that's something we can do, the others will require a server restart). We'll need your input on the new values (post in the thread, let a GM in-game know, whatever else you've got to get your opinion to our attention), and whatever values we give them while changing them live does not mean we'll be keeping it that way; Just a 'in my opinion' thing will do.
     
    Furthermore, anyone who can't keep their post clean (within reason) will be banned from the forums, you've been warned.

    Topic closed, nothing was touched, as usual. Random is random, you were just extremely lucky to encounter "2x slots" with only coins and no items.
     
    The clan bonus, is not a flat +20%, it's 20% of whatever the droprate is; e.g. If it were 10% drop rate, the clan bonus would make it a 12% drop rate (20% of 10% is 2%).

    From what I was told by him, you were just as AFK as the people you were reporting; Not several seconds, but several minutes near the end. Unless he wants to reverse his decision (which is entirely up to him), you won't get anything - spamming the shoutbox doesn't really help either
