    Quite simple.
    Finding The NPC:

    1. Go to moradon
    2. Find yourself in middle of both TP gates
    3. Turn right (the side where White Shadow is standing)
    4. Turn around the corner to the left and keep going until you find the npc.
     
    Items needed
    -3x Old Uniques (must be identical, sealed or not doesn't matter)
    -5 Nest Scrap (loot from monsters in Monster Stone instances and mining)
    -50 Scraps of Steel (loot from monsters in Monster Stone instances and mining)
    -1 Soft Stone (Acquire this on the NPC itself, buy it for 1m in the "Alchemy stone sales" tab)
    Optional: Dragon's Scale.

    Note that this process isn't guaranteed, meaning you can fail the upgrade and lose all materials in the process. To make it a 100% guaranteed upgrade, you need a Dragon's Scale. You can acquire this item from winning the Forgotten Temple, Power-up Store, Felankor Chest or buying it from player merchants at Moradon.
     
    Manufacturing
    1. Talk to NPC
    2. Click "Assemble"
    3. Drag items there and click "Combination"
    4. ???
    5. Hopefully profit!

    Lapislazuli got a reaction from Alsahim in this ones for the mages out there. ice mages get 2 freezes. lightning gets 2 blinks. fire mages had 2 heals because we cant escape. now it is a dot..   
    Vampiric Fire was changed to behave that way in USKO a long time ago. Go figure. Old Vampiric Fire was overpowered.
     
    Fire focuses on raw damage, almost 50% more damage on every spell compared to ice and light.
    Ice and lightning focus on utility / party support.
     
    You can't get the best of both worlds in one skill tree.

    IMO a +7 PD is superior to even a DV or CHD at +8.

    Talias give you lower ac compared to high tier armors, you lose out on set bonuses, stats, damage and are only effective against one of the 8+ weapon / elemental varieties.
     
    The tradeoffs are there, and then you remember that acid potions exist!
     
    To me, the satisfaction of destroying someone's precious talia skin exceeds the frustration of hitting very low damage on a target occasionally.

    I disagree. If you want to farm, there's a risk that comes with it.
     
    I've played several servers, both USKO and private, and I've never seen a "nation taking control" of every single farming or exping spot.

    1. Topic hijacking is not allowed (ex: You sell X for 20 and some other person comes into your thread saying he's selling it for 15).
    2. Prefixes are not mandatory, yet it is recommended to use words that everyone can understand such as "sell", "trade" or "buy"
    3. It is advised to not create excessive threads for multiple items, try to merge them into one thread if possible.
    4. Excessive thread bumping is not allowed.
    5. USD and account trades won't be banned, but you will do them at your own risk. The ApexKO staff won't be held responsible for any scam or fraud regarding this kind of trades.
    6. Advertising USD trades in our forums/games or social media sites will lead to a ban.

    Right now the ridic exp rates trivialize questing. You get so much more exp by just grinding stuff.
     
    Also, we have no daily schedule for events that would otherwise give you 10-20% of your level exp per individual event completion. It's not accurate to judge how quick the exp goes tbh.
     
    My suggestion is to find a nice balance between reducing exp required per level and reducing exp per monster kill so that quests are more effective, in a way that the exp rate is almost as easy as it is right now (with all the events on) and make exp gain past level 80 cut by half so that hardcore exp grinding people also have something going for them.
     
    Example:
     
    X level requires 1000 exp
    Monster gives 10 exp
    Quest gives 50 exp
    Event gives 15% of the level (150 exp)
     
    change it to...
     
    X level requires 850 exp
    Monster gives 8 exp
    Quest still gives 50 exp
    Event gives 15% of the level (127 exp)
     
    Something like that... probably too late to change it now. But that's what I would do.

    But the thing is that no one is forcing you to buy premium. You can play USKO without premium for example, hence the phrase "Free 2 Play.
     
    I somewhat agree and disagree with this topic because from past experience and observation, it's a two way street. If the EXP is made easier, users will max out quicker, which will lead to boredom quicker, which could lead to "killing the server" quicker. Secondly, the same people who are judging the "hard exp" haven't even completed many of the EXP quests which are available in every single zone you could possibly teleport to. Before making a drastic change such as reducing the EXP I think we should tally up the total EXP that can be granted by doing all the quests first and see what that adds up to.
     
    That's just my opinion though. We had users who hit level 83 in 2-3 days before gear was dispensed at +8 and when the rate was 200% EXP -- mostly on genie, without EXP quests.
     
    That's just my opinion though, everyone wants quick access to CZ, but no one wants to grind -- find a PK server then?
     
    When you folks played USKO did you refuse to war or go to CZ without reaching max level? Oh, me either 
     
    And if everyone following your logic about not wanting to spend 15$ dollars, this server is good as dead then, since it will survive on donations (especially after the amount of money they have pumped into this project (not to mention literally thousands of hours of work)).

    Upgradable is fine, 15 DD isn't that bad, and you actually have to upgrade it to have it (as opposed to simply getting a +6/25 out of nowhere).

    Type /achieve in chat, and find out what tasks you need to perform in order to unlock titles and even chest rewards!
     
    If you completed a task that has a chest on top of it, click on the chest and you'll receive whatever is inside.
     
    Titles unlocked through achievement can be equipped by opening your character menu (press "U") and going into the Achieve tab. Titles will be attached to your in-game name and they can be changed at any point. Titles can also give you small stat boosts (STR, DEX, HP, etc) so look out for powerful titles!

    I already posted this in an IRC message but in case it was deleted or forgotten here goes.
     
    There should 4 kind of premiums (forget about the basic one): EXP, WAR, DC and ULT (ultimate)
     
    Most prems will share the same benefits and they will have clear advantages specific to their kind too.
     
    On flash (item) usability, assuming this is correct:

     
    (I think war prem flashes are a bit excessive considering that war prem already gives like +6 np per kill by default). Is there a way to restrict the max amount of WAR flashes you can use?
     
    EXP prem:
    Comes with trina piece (does it? it must come with something in any case, I think fishing rod?)
     
    +60% Exp reward per monster kill
    EXP flashes become usable, raising exp by 10% each, stacking 4 times up to a maximum of 100%
    1% Exp lost on death to NPC's (down from 5%)
    +5 national and ladder points per kill
    -50% repair cost
    +50% coin gained from items sold to merchants
    +100% coin looted from monsters
     
    Works fine imo, apparently exp flashes aren't supposed to work past 80 though...
     
     
    WAR prem:
    Comes with War prem wings and daily ancient text (need confirmation)
     
    Reskills and re-stats cost 0 coins at the respective NPC.
    WAR flashes become usable, raising NP and ladder gain on pvp kills by 1 point per flash, stacking 10 times up to a maximum of 10.
    +5 national and ladder points per kill
    +20% Exp reward per monster kill
    2.5% Exp lost on death to NPC's (down from 5%)
    -50% repair cost
    +50% coin gained from items sold to merchants
    +100% coin looted from monsters
     
    This is how WAR should be, but IMO it needs a nerf of some kind, it makes the difference between someone with WAR and someone without it completely abysmal at 80+ end game. Perhaps making the amount of exp loss per death to 4%?
     
     
    DC prem:
    Comes with Free golden mattock (and trina? or just the mattock?).
     
    +30% Loot rate increase.
    DC flashes become usable, increasing noah gain by 10% per flash, stacking 10 times up to a maximum of 100%.
    Access to the exclusive DC potions NPC that sells cheap potions and weapon / armor enchant scrolls (could add extra stuff).
    +5 national and ladder point per kill
    +20% Exp reward per monster kill
    2.5% Exp lost on death to NPC's (down from 5%)
    -50% repair cost
    +50% coin gained from items sold to merchants
    +100% coin looted from monsters
     
    The most lackluster prem, even with its 30% loot rate increase. Something else should be added so it's on equal grounds with WAR or even EXP. Maybe free tp to every zone? probably hard to code. Add transform scrolls to the DC prem npc? styx? wolf? stones of rogue mage priest warrior for 50 coins? idk. Also I stand corrected, apparently the flashes only increased noah drop rate.
     
     
    Ultimate prem:
    Comes with a trina (in case some other prem already doesn't, in which case it should instead come with something different but still valuable)
     
    No flashes are needed or can be used with this premium.
    +50% Exp reward per monster kill
    +15% Loot rate increase
    1.5% Exp lost on death to NPC's (down from 5%)
    +11 national and ladder point per kill
    -50% repair cost
    +50% coin gained from items sold to merchants
    +100% coin looted from monsters
    Access to the DC prem potions npc.
     
    An idea of mine, a premium that is the jack of all trades / master of none. Ideal for people who want to get the most out of the server and obviously for those that have the most time at their avail too, naturally it would also be the most expensive... unsure about adding free reskills to this one because maybe it'd be too much. Maybe 5x free redist items on purchase?

    Yeah the grinding should def. be toned down since that would be negative for newer players recently joining.
     
    Keep in mind that quests give 2x the exp if I'm not mistaken though, and events also give more EXP, not to mention the dynamic exp events that I have yet to see.
     
    I'm not against genie, if people want to get some exp while AFK then let them. It will never be on par with normal exp at booro while doing events.

    As stated in the other thread, we cannot simply change the core mechanics of the game on the whim of a few players. This would be counter-productive in the long run.
     
    Sorry I cannot be of any more help. Check the feature section to see perhaps some changes that you'd enjoy in here over USKO.

    Already mentioned before that it's not that good of an idea to limit things that make people feel 'special'.
     
    Excessive catering to casuals seems to be all the rage nowadays, but KO was never really a casual game considering all the grinding involved.
