    Aesteris.....I think you should look at this more broadly.  If you're just looking at this from the point of view of a mage party who is faring badly at some particular point in time(perhaps because they're continuously putting themselves into a bad situation against a well coordinated and experienced party that is predicting their tactics effectively), sure it can feel like the deck is stacked against you.  EVERYONE FEELS THAT WAY WHEN THEY'RE LOSING BADLY......at least everyone who can't look at the situation pragmatically.  How about looking at it from the point of view of the other parties?  The ones that many of this server's players play in......the ones that might land that perfect situation that gives a melee party 6+ kills in instantaneous fashion.  Never mind that it doesn't work out that way anywhere CLOSE to every time.  Never mind that much of the time they end up bombed out themselves.  How about polling all the priests/warriors/sins that have had their entire party flattened inside of a second by mage parties?  Are we going to nerf mage damage(and DEAR GOD don't anybody start talking about the recent reduction in mage damage that was NOT a nerf but rather a correcting of damage rates that were BROKEN)?  Are we going to make it so only the closest targets get hit by mage AOE?  Are we going to scale mage AOE damage dependent on how close someone is to the epicenter of the AOE?  Are we going to implement diminished returns when stacking mage AOE?  Because I GUARANTEE there are more parties being bombed out by mages than entire mages parties being AOE killed by warriors.
     
    What tactics do you want warrior parties to employ?  Warriors must get close to those mages in order to do damage even if their AOE is effective.  But they can't get close without those same mages dropping their AOE.......a situation that ends in the death of an entire melee party with GREAT frequency(a fact that everyone who is honest can attest to......how the hell else are mages getting all those NPs?).  So we take away the only tactic that warrior based parties have to counter the mages ability to flatten them with AOEs?  What are we left with?  Descent into the middle of the party and start Z-skilling?  With the aoe's dropping all around them?  Because that doesn't ever end in dead warrior parties, right?
     
    So now we're left with the idea of simply changing the effectiveness of skills.....skills implemented by developers who were able to somehow create a game with some of the best pk in all of gaming.....and yet apparently those same developers have no idea what they're doing in this particular instance.  Where does it stop?  Do we attempt to "fine-tune" everything in order to tailor the entire pk system to every particular method of pk simply because some players want to pk in whatever style they wish(regardless of the wisdom of that method)?  Again......how about 8 warriors?  Or perhaps 8 priests(hooray for never dying!).  How about 7 warriors and a sin?  It's all about what people have fun playing, right?  So lets tailor the ENTIRE system to it!
     
    In the end it all comes down to this.......how many screenshots do you think we could get in here of mage parties topping the boards with tens of thousands of NPs?  How many screenshots of mage parties racking up a dozen or more kills in a row?  And doing this time and time again during a pk session?  LET THE NPs TALK.  I would accede the point if it could be shown that mage parties were just being dominated at all times and were completely ineffective against melee parties.  But that simply isn't the case.  It's nowhere NEAR the case.  There are plenty of mages at the top of the LP rankings.  Plenty at the top of the NP rankings.  The facts don't match the claims......and any number of people claiming otherwise is not enough to prove the point when they're at odds with the facts.  The fact is that every build of party is not intended to be able to be successful against EVERY other build of party.  The weaknesses and strengths are supposed to play off of each other.......there isn't supposed to be one party build that is perfect and ideal against all forms of opposition.  Wouldn't that kind of defeat the whole point of this game?

    2. stun rate was broken, now it stuns 1 or 2 people in pt instead of the whole pt getting chain stunned
     
    3. theres also no way of predicting mage novas (i agree that with a sin in their pt it gets a lot harder though)

    theres literally no decent mage clans in this server (for 83 cap), i'm sorry thats just how it is
    those are the official damages, trust me they hit a lot harder on +10 +3 fest old servers yet people fight melee pts there all the time
     

     
    mage is also easy to play with the way most people play on this server (nova, town, commander blinks away, rgs.. repeat), it takes a lot of coordination to play both classes good.
     
    if you're actually playing the way you're describing on all fights (not just the herp derp ks fest in bowl at peak hours) you're just playing it wrong, can't just nova, run away, rg against melees on 83 cap you actually have to confront, harrass the pcure, have somewhat decent priests (not your usual spam restore peruvian), time your blinds etc
     
    skykings were melee before (a really good one), they switched to mages cos 1 of their main priests quit
    invincible were playing melee here way before the patch
    most of those 1299 mages will go play the next most recent retarded server anyways

    Warrior AOE skills are supposed to deal alot of dmg on the Cry echo AOE skill. It has been like that in USKO and it should be like that in here, there's no need to nerf them at all.
     
    Warrior cry echo SINGLE target skill deals 300% + 200 bonus dmg, the Cry echo AOE skill (Strongest AOE skill of warrior) deals 300% damage without the 200 additional bonus, so this means it should hit 200 less than the single target echo which is in my opinion the case right now, the strongest blade of hell skill does 250%, those skills are only slightly weaker than cry echo and that's what they are when i hit people with it aswell
     
    The AOE's are not OP, they are the way they should be. Can all of you retards please stop getting me so much cancer all the time and play the game? You are just crying because you are dying to 6 warriors that time their AOE's right with a torment, learn to counterplay and use your party cure for once so the damage will be useless again. Get your facts straight and stop whining.

    you do realise that mages in USKO hit a poor 800-1k right with full +3 accessory and +10 staff, you do understand that right? can you please stop being stubborn and press your party cure for once, use your subside for once? and let the afk nova skill kill the entire party.
     
    fyi the reason i'm refferring to usko is because the owners themselve claimed that this server would be 100% usko based. In USKO mages have to handle warriors with fkn 6-7K attack power, in here they cry when they get hit by 4-5K attack power warriors, also if you want me to i can show you atleast 5 video's where warriors in usko hit mages for 3K with aoe skills, wow such brain.

    So if we're talking about doing this for balance here.......warriors need duff, mages don't.  Warriors have to have two priests to survive a standard encounter with mages, mages only need one.  Warriors have to have a sin to descent to, mages AOE is ranged so they don't.  Warriors have to time the duff, the descent, and the skill in order for the skill to be effective, Mages just have to time their skill.
     
    When mages can pull off 40k+ np/lp pk sessions I find it hard to feel bad for them.  This isn't an issue of anything being OP, it's an issue of people not wanting to have to adjust their pk strategy.  The game wasn't built to have just 2 classes in a party and for that party to be super effective against everyone.  Weaknesses and strengths are built into the classes that play off of each other.
     
    I mean seriously......what happens when a bunch of paper BP's want to play together with a single sin or something?  We going to nerf the skills of other classes that causes that to be an untenable strategy?  LOOK AT THE NPs.  When mage parties are leading CZ in NP/LPs practically 100% of the time, are we really talking about them being too vulnerable?

    Do you even realise what you're saying right now? Ur saying that there's 10++ people attacking 3 targets, you realise a party can only have 8 members right. Which should most likely mean, that the 10++ people aren't playing together in other words have different commanders, different strategies, different targets.
     
    On top of that, idk if you know what kind of items mocker and his party members use in comparison to the half naked dumbfucks chasing them but i can tell, there's a big difference.
     
    Also mocker and his friends play official servers and new server launches all the time, they know what they can and cannot handle because they know eachother very well, that's what i mean with USKO players because they usually stick together for a long while knowing the others are as good as they are, unlike those retards in cypher that play casually because they came back from their 10 year break of playing KO and still claim to be pro (including you).
     
    When i'm speaking about USKO players, i'm talking about the players that have played there all the time, and most likely with the same clan for years now, so yea most likely they are going to do a way better job on coordination than the casual and brain challenged players like here on ApexKO.
     
    I don't know exactly what you're trying to proof with ''i've been part of leading clans years ago part'' KO has changed, playstyle has changed, show me you can do it again. I don't mind doing an 8v8 against you to show you what it's like to be ''leading clan'' nowadays. I've played KO long enough to tell, that players that were playing years and years ago won't be able to do as well anymore as they did back then because no1 knew how to play at the time.

    Hi, why can't we get battle hero wings in a different way rather than using all my achievement ones? In USKO it's possible to get battle hero wings from the PUS (dragon box i believe drop them) why can't we here? They are the best looking wings and also together with hellfire the best ones because of the damage increase. tyvm
